Australian horse racing market

Postby wesdag » Tue Dec 07, 2010 12:15 am

Hi,

Is there any reason why I can not load the Australian horse racing markets? Is it anything to do with not having funds in my Australian wallet?

Thanks,

Wesley

Do you mean they are not visible in the list of markets or do you have a problem when you try to select the market?

If they are not in the list then select preferences from the options menu, select the quick pick options tab and tick "Include Australian markets". After you have changed the preference click the refresh button above the market tree, they should then appear in the tree.

Hi Gary,

What I've been doing is selecting Market>Add to Quick Pick List. When I choose the Aussie horse races they do not load in the Quick List Pick box.

Yes, but have you checked if "Include Australian markets" is ticked in preferences? If it wasn't then you would need to check it, click refresh above the market tree then select "Add to quick pick list" again.

I have just noticed that there are no AUS horse racing markets for today. You need to also untick "Only load today's events" in preferences, click refresh above the market tree and select "Add to quick pick list" again. This will load tomorrow's markets.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
