excel problem - stop log data

Postby tommy7bh » Thu Dec 02, 2010 11:55 pm

Hello,
I have a problem with BA with triggered bets from excel.
When I try to make multiple back in correct score - soccer market from excel triggered sheets, BA stop log data to the sheets.
In the "bet ref" column just show "PENDING"; not all bets are trasmitted to BA and I have to make manually the remaining bets.
After this, I have to reboot BA for restart logging data every time and when i try to send a new trigger to BA againg BA stop log to excel.

All this is just for 'correct score' in soccer market, in HORSE RACING it work correctly.

Please help me to solve this problem
Thanks

Sorry I cannot replicate this problem. I just tried all combinations of triggers that I could think of and they all worked. I will need more information from you.

1. Please install the Beta version which logs more diagnostic information from the link below.
http://www.gruss-software.co.uk/Betting ... t_Beta.msi

2. When the problem occurs does C2 (last updated time) stop updating?

3. Does it only occur when triggering multiple bets at the same time?

4. Are the stakes above or below minimum stake or a mixture of both?

4. Can you select "Display Excel Link Activity" from the Excel menu, copy and send the log to admin@gruss-software.co.uk

5. Send the log named BA_Diagnostic.txt in "C:\temp\Betting Assistant Logs" folder to admin@gruss-software.co.uk

1. I have tried to install beta version, but I can't see any information about odds and event, just grey page and markets on the left. I see these information if I log data to excel. I have not tried to send a multiple trigger from the beta yet.

2. The problem occours with the last release of BA.

3. Yes, it occour when I send multiple trigger at the same time and BA match correctly up to 3-1, after that, BA does not receive any other trigger bets from excel.
After this, BA stop log data to excel, in Bet ref excel column it show "PENDING" and I have to reboot BA for restart log data.

4. some of them are more than 2€, and other are lower than 2€.

5. ok
6. ok

...everything above are when the event is not in play.
If I send an trigger bets from excel during the event 'play', also just 1 trigger bet, BA stop log data and i have to reboot.
thanks for your support

Are the options in column A displayed in date format? I can replicate this problem if they are formatted as dates. If I format the cells in column A to text then it works. In the meantime I am looking for a fix that does not require you to format the cells.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
