BACK & LAY Trigger Linking

Postby Castillo » Sat Mar 25, 2006 11:10 am

Hi All

I hope someone can help. I'm looking at the logging of individual prices export and using the information to trigger a BACK or LAY command in another excel spreadsheet. It’s probably best to explain using the Crossoversignal.xls spreadsheet available in the sample spreadsheets topic. This spreadsheet records a selections moving price and in column S depending on the price fluctuations it would display a BACK or LAY command accordingly. I don't know if it's possible but could I link the trigger to another cell in a different spreadsheet. The problem is a new line is created for each row of data so the Trigger command in column S is continually advancing one row S400, S401, S402 etc
So S256 might show BACK and S354 might show LAY, from a single cell in another spreadsheet is it possible to link to the triggers in the advancing S column. Hope I've explained this OK.

Many thanks,
Castillo

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
