Runing BA on 2 machines simultaneously

Postby Mulkis » Sun Nov 27, 2011 12:00 am

So this is my question: is it allowed to run 2 instances of BA on two different computers at the same time on one account (one for bot trading soccer another for manual trading tennis)??? I know API data requests may be a niuance but this is not my real concern. I am very much worried not to brake any BF rules or regulations or whatever.
Thanks!

It's completely within the rules and you can do this on one subscription because it is the same account. Just install BA on the second machine. The direct download link is http://www.gruss-software.co.uk/Betting ... istant.msi

Also to ensure you don't incur the data request charges make sure that the combined data requests from the 2 instances don't add up to more than 20 requests per second, e.g. set the throttle in preferences to 10 or less on both instances. The default value on a new installation is 10 anyway.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
