Reload bets in Excel

Postby keesbart » Mon Jul 02, 2012 8:58 am

Goodday to all,

I have made a new spreadsheet that places bets when certain criteria are met.
I start with the first market in het Quick Pick list, then some bets are placed with a bet reference. Then I move to the second market, again bets are placed, then I move to the third market, etc.
When I am finished I go back to the first market and I expected to see all the bets that were before placed in this market, but none is shown in the spreadsheet. All the bets are shown in the My Bets in the grid interface.
Is there a possibility to show the bets also again in the spreadsheet when I move to the markets where bets were placed?

Sorry, there isn't an option for this. In a future release I could maybe provide an option to initially populate the bet ref column with the latest bet placed when the market is selected.

It also shouldn't be too difficult to write some VBA to copy the latest refs from MyBets when the market is selected.

Thanks Gary, seems a good solution!

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
