Hi,

Just tested it with Excel 2010 in compatibility mode and it seems to be working fine.

When you first opened the spreadsheet, did you "Enable Content" when you first opened the file

Regards,
Mark

Hi Mark

Thanks for checking this out - I have had another look at it and it is working but when I click View tab and then Macros View Macros there is no sign of the code. How do I get at the code to make changes /additions ?

Never had a problem before upgrading from office 2000

Hi,

Ok, you can press Alt-F11 to bring up the code.

I am using excel 2013. I have tried using this sheet. I have gone in and enabled macros, in fact tried alot of things but I think that it just isnt working in excel 2013.. eg in the stake column.. the formula is =AB5 ,6 7 etc.. ie trainer name..

perhaps the code is getting mixed up by excel 2013 ?

any help appreciated.

I have managed to get my head around using formulas to do alot of conditional betting on a normal sheet and thought that i'd start to have a look at the vba stuff on this simpler sheet.

so far I'm not even getting past step one of getting it to place simple back or lay bets from a list of horses entered into the selections column

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
