Betfair Trader Error Message

Postby tranmerekev » Tue Jun 27, 2006 5:49 pm

I'm having problems when I click back or lay.

I get the following message:

An unhandled exception has occurred in your application.If you click Continue the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue.
If you click Quit the application will shut down immediately.

The currency separator information specified in the NumberFormatInfo is ambiguous for parsing.

Then when I click on "Details" I get this:

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just in time (JIT) debugging, the config file for this
application or machine (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the machine
rather than being handled by this dialog.

I am completely stupid when it comes to computers, so would anyone like to translate this for a numpty like me?
And more importantly explain how I can resolve this problem?

Your help will be most appreciated.
Cheers,
Kev

Have not got a clue about all the gobbledook but I notice at the start of the messages there is a reference to currency.

Are you sure your country/currency settings in windows are correct?

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
