Hi Guys,

I have just went from xp to Windows 7. In xp I had a refresh rate of 200ms, now I am at 1000. Did any one had the same problem, can you advice me with any solution? Thank you.

I'm guessing you've reinstalled Gruss on a new PC and haven't copied over your old profile files, the new installation is using the default refresh rate of 1 second.

Just go to Options-> preferences->General and amend the Default refresh rate to whatever you want and click OK

Depends on your style of play , I only ever have it at 0.2 seconds for inplay stuff as 1 second seems fine for me pre off if I'm playing manually. With my bots I have them running at 0.2 seconds when they're due to bet or have bets outstanding otherwise just pretty much put them to sleep until it's time to bet.

You'd be surprised just how much data BA can get thru when it's on a quick refresh, I've churned thru 104GB in the last 5 days and reckon most is down to Gruss

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
