Tried to open but said updating, then 'starting ba' indicated and then nothing.
Uninstalled and reinstalled and now it won't begin to open at all?

Works now after failed system restore. No idea why.

I also find that it takes some time lately to "update/communicate with ba server" sometimes, not always
You can create a new ba shortcut linked with ba.exe which does not try to update the program at the start but just load it from your hard drive
This solves the problem
"Official" ba shortcut is linked with file "launcher" which tries to update the program before opening it
