Help with "CLOSEC" TRIGGER

Postby epm » Mon Nov 02, 2020 10:05 pm

Hello, I'm a newbie on this software!

I would like to know if there is a way when using "CLOSEC" TRIGGER, to avoid closing in red in this situation:

Hi,

When you start logging to Excel you can select 'Close Profit/loss' from the Additional columns list.
Additional columns are output in column Y onwards.
The 'Close Profit/Loss' column displays the potential green up amount, so you can use this data to decide whether or not to trigger CLOSEC

Mark

Thanks. Is there a way to make it work only after xx seconds after market is suspended?

Hi,

Do you mean when the market turns in play?
You would need to capture the time when that happens and build that into your trigger formula.
You would probably need some VBA code to capture the time that market goes in play and use a spare cell to display seconds since that happened which can then be used to decide when the trigger should fire.

Football markets already in play that turn to suspended because of goals or other situations like reds cards or VAR.
I would like the trigger to fire only after xx seconds after market became in play again so the market would have time to build up again and get better odds to close position.
Would I need VBA for that? Could you share an example of it?

Thanks in advance

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
