It's not valid

1) BACKSP 3.2 means the minimum odds you will accept are 3.2 so will be matched at SP if SP >=3.2

2) -IP cannot be combined with BACKSP.

3) Betfair do not let you request a back SP bet with condition that it is less than or equal to a price.

A valid trigger is BACK-SP 3.2 which would match at 3.2 if odds are 3.2 or above otherwise match at SP in play. I am not sure if this is what you want.

It's not,
so I should place a BACKSP 3.2 bet and
if the bet is not matched at SP odds
then place another bet inplay with the odds I want eg BACK 3.2

You can do that. The result will be that if the SP odds are 3.2 or above then it will be matched at SP otherwise it will lapse and you can place another bet in play.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
