looking for help trigger modifier

Hi I am after a bit of help with a trigger modifier. I am putting in a bet at a certain time with a tic offset and I want to setup a stop loss so that if the offset bet has not been matched after 2 min of the actual race off time then fire the stop loss and case till matched.
I have tried several ways with the trigger modifiers but it seems very problematic especially if the race start time is late .

Will I have to set up a separate trigger to do the stop loss in running and if so are there any examples I could look at / copy
