how to open in excel some market in two sheets at once?

Postby r_ivica » Wed Aug 01, 2007 5:58 pm

i would like to have availability to open in sheet1 and sheet2 same market, so when i click in BA to open market to open it same thing in two different sheets.

I would like to have sheet1 prepared for lay betting, and sheet2 for back betting!

Is that already possible to do in Betting Assistant?

tnx,
Ivica

Open the market and link to Excel sheet1 then right click on the same market in the market tree and select 'open market in new tab', you can then link the 2nd tab to Excel sheet2.

hm, yes, but not good enough for me personaly..
So when i open in new tab same market/selection and link to excel sheet2 is ok and same market is refreshing in two sheets, but when i go to another game/market and want to place bet - than again i need to navigate in 'Markets' selection window in BA in both tabs that same selection! So it's again double job.
I would like somehow to automate it to open same selection in those two sheets only with one navigation through 'Markets' window in BA!

Do you have any other better and easier way to do it?

btw. how can i close some tab when don't want to have it opened anymore?

There is no way of doing what you suggest currently, it is something a will consider implementing. You can close the 2nd tab by clicking on the 'X' in the top left hand corner just above the prices or right click anywhere in the betting options and select 'close'.

That wouldn't work because the program would still only be monitoring one worksheet for triggered bets.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
