Blueboy, you are quite correct the more markets the more error messages, I hadn't thought about the size of the fields but I think this is also an issue for me. I don't wish to change the refresh rate so I can't comment.
I monitor both win and place markets in horse racing so each race updates two sheets. Sometimes on a Saturday I will be monitoring 6 races that is 12 sheets in all. I only monitor the win races and I do this by updating a separate sheet on which I use the chage_event routines, I have found this method the easiest to manage and is quite quick.
Dai_Young, I had the problem before the upgrade but it def became worse after it. It was also at this time that my internet usage went through the roof :( I get the exact same pending message as you. I keep a very close eye on my betting and so far none of the "Unexpected response error" type bets have been placed. I have not found any improvement in the past month.
markw996 I have been toying with creating a routine which would re-enter the bets but I am worried about knock on effects and how can it be properly tested?

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
