Which mod? And when you say it stops the modue altogether is it giving some error code and leading you back to that line#?

Adding Worksheets("Sheet2").Range("A2:F200").Value = "" wouldn't need declaring, is the sheet called sheet2 or have you amended it?

Hi Putting the Worksheets("Sheet2").Range("A2:F200").Value = "" into the module on my spread sheet stops the macro from running, or causes the macro to run and skip over all the steps, i do not get an error message. nither do i get any reload of runners or quickpick list set to first runner.

I have now added Worksheets("Sheet2").Range("A2:F200").Value = "" into the original sheet 1 code but just below the first if statement and it now will run from the macro run tab abd clear the sheer 2 and reload the runner list etc, so now i am going to let it run over midnight and see if it clears sheet 2 .....

well hello again, after all the suggestions, it still will not clear the sheet 2......
now this might be a radical thought but........might it be that the gruss software is somehow blocking the
clear as it is the records sheet?
to refresh the thread....
when load the sheet into gruss and then select the first race, the sheet2 is cleared down.
if i click on the macro and run.....it clears the sheet and reloads the races and selects the first race....
when it crosses midnight and the macro runs....it does not clear the sheet but does reload the runners and select the first race.....

totally stumped now, tomorrow I will set the sheet to sheet 3......see if that clears at midnight.......that will the say if its the gruss or not.

So its something to do with Bet ass, its holding the results page and not letting it clear.....code works if i point at sheet 3 instead of 3......so i have stared a new thread with a different title.
