re-populating column T

Postby enery » Thu May 07, 2020 11:03 am

Hi All, I am attempting to trade the fav multiple times both Back and Lay as circumstances dictate, I am managing to do this and then use CLOSEC just before the off, but because I am previously using CLEAR to place my next bet I end up with Column T having nothing in it. I realise I need to have something in column T to use CLOSEC and Mark says just to re-populate it but how do i do that when it is continuously blanking all the time.
I am sure I am missing something I just need steering on the right path !!

There must be something in your VBA that's causing column T to continuously blank out. It doesn't do that on its own, so check your code for an instruction that clears it.

I had the same issue using CLOSEC with CLEAR. My solution was to trigger a bet that won't be matched a few seconds before CLOSEC to populate column T. Not very elegant, but seems to work.

Thanks, yes my solution was to just sneak in a bet for 1 penny but yours is even better!

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
