Quick Pick Refresh In Excel Automation

Postby jspencer1289 » Sat May 23, 2020 5:09 am

Hi All,

Im fairly new to Gruss and slowly trying to work things out.

I have an excel automation list that flicks through each race of the day and places trigger bets.

Came across an issue today when there was a delay in races at one venue (Eagle Farm in Australia). Races got pushed back half an hour so my quick pick list wasn't cycling past (race 3 in this example) properly and therefore missing races in between.

I restarted Gruss and the excel and it updated the quick pick list with the new timings (in order) but is there a way of doing it automatically.

If i wasnt there to see it i would have missed alot of races.

Any ideas of how to get around that? or links to the docs? Thanks very much!
Cheers

Hi,

We are trying to get the software to automatically update with the new timings when this happens.
Its been an issue for a long time.
We are hopeful that the next version will have a solution.
I don't want to put a time frame for when it will be ready, just to say as soon as possible.

Regards,
Mark

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
