Suggestions - Back and Lay options separated

Postby Matson » Sun May 24, 2020 9:56 am

I'd like to see Back and Lay preferences to be different and independent.

1. Maximum liability: I back runners for up to $50, and lay runners to lose $300. My staking and potential maximum liabilities are different.

2. Going In Play: I'd like to tick the box "Keep bet" for a LAY, but tick box "Place at SP" with BACK bets.

3. Stake buttons: I'd like to set different amounts for LAY and BACK, for the reasons shown in no.1 above.

So, if an option was presented whereby the lay and back preferences could be separated, I'd find the program more appealing.

Cheers,
Matson

Hi,

Your requests for changes to the program have been noted for 1. and 2.

With regards to 3. you can already change the stake buttons values by double clicking on them.

I will reply on this thread if we are able to accommodate the other changes.

Regards,
Mark

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
