Betdaq Stream popup box

Postby teamsports » Thu May 28, 2020 5:24 am

Hi,

I downloaded v 2.0.2.8 for Betdaq.

After customizing on a VPS, I get an irritating popup box, maybe every 2 mins.

How do I stop it ?

Thx

Somehow the setting got changed. Link a spreadsheet and put PRICE-STREAM-OFF in cell Q2. Let me know if that fixes it. You will only need to do that once.

Shouldn't be enabled by default. I will look into it.

Alternatively you can edit the settings file.

1. Select "Open settings folder" from the options menu.
2. Close Betting Assistant.
3. Right click on the file named "user.config" and select Edit.
4. Use the search function in notepad to locate "streamPrices"
5. Change the setting to read as follows if it reads "True"
Code: Select all
<streamPrices serializeAs="String">False</streamPrices>

6. Save and close the file.
7. Restart Betting Assistant

Sorry, didt see your user.config fix.

I found the user.config, but right click doesn't give me an option to edit.

It says its an xml configuration

If I try open, it says Windows cant open this type of file.

Double click the file. It may prompt you to choose an application to edit it with. Choose notepad.

Here is a working config file.

That appears to have fixed it.

It must be a problem with creating new profiles, which is a bit odd.

Anyway, thx

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
