Transaction Log Bug?

Postby Deestar » Sat Jun 20, 2020 12:47 pm

Probably wrong day to be asking given everything else that is going on but:

In my transaction log i'm noticing the following:

315 20/06/2020 10:01 2.0273E+11 Layed Seen The Light @ odds:5.1, stake:9.8 (Excel trigger:LAY-SP, Odds:15.5 Stake:3.23 Tick offset:0 Fill or kill:-1)

Where the layed odds and stake are different to what the excel trigger in brackets in showing. 5.1/9.8 versus 15.5/3.23 in the example above.

The actual bet placed was correct ( a lay of 5.1 at a stake of 9.8) and shows correctly in the diagnostic log
20062020 10:01:00:996T2: Excel bet triggered:LAY-SP, Odds:5.1, Stake:9.8, Selection:Seen The Light

Just wondering why a difference is showing in the transaction log? Where are the 15.5/3.23 odds/stake coming from? Is it a bug?
It doesn't happen on all bets.

Thanks in advance

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
