Betdaq Blacklisted

Postby Deestar » Tue Jun 23, 2020 1:05 pm

Hi,

I've noticed that I'm getting the following blacklist notification via Betdaq. These are new since June but i haven't changed my settings.

23062020 11:01:59:139T0: next bets refresh complete
23062020 11:02:01:217: Blacklisted: listSelectionTrades
23062020 11:02:02:232: Blacklisted: listSelectionTrades

I'm linked to two tabs with excel, I've got a default refresh of 2 secs when a market is not active and a refresh of 0.5 and 0.2, respectively when they are. Both tabs are live for around a min pre-off and not necessarily at the same time. The default throttle limit is checked to 15.

There doesn't seem to be a consistent time when the blacklisting arises.

For example I got blacklisted this morning when only one tab (the 0.5 refresh) was active. The other tab was still waiting for the first market to load.

In 2017 I had my limits increased to the following and their API team assure me they haven't changed:

Placeordersnoreceipt 800
Placeorderswithreceipt 800
Changeordernoreipt 800
Geteventsubtreenoselections 50
Geteventsubtreewithselections 50
Listbootstraporders 50
Getprices 2000
Listorderschangedsince 600
Combined 3000
Any 1000

Any help appreciated
Thanks

Betdaq's API team tell me I exceeded API Request Count of 65 x ListSelectionTrades at the 11:02 instance.

So are they saying 65 is your limit for listSelectionTrades? I can limit this call if that’s the case.

Must be. Is there something I can change in the settings or is it a background process?

Hi I see there has been some auto updates to the Betdaq App today.

Don't know what has changed but I'm still getting issues with the above blacklisting if I try to run anything other than one market at a time.

Basically makes it unworkable for me.

Any help appreciated.

Are you saying it was working with the previous version or you are still having the same issue you had previously?

Are you running multiple instances?

It's the same issue i had previously.

Just thought with the update I'd try and run multiple markets to see if anything had changed but not to be.

One instance but two tabs. Same Blacklisted: listSelectionTrades

Thanks. I should add that it generally occurs when attempting or after placing multiple bets into one or both of the markets.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
