Continuity of "Software User Forum

Postby coolbear » Tue Mar 20, 2007 5:30 am

Hello Gary,

You have indicated that a proper user's manual will be available to subscribers and this is certainly as it should be.

However, I am learning a great deal from browsing this forum and, since I personally have a long row to hoe before I can claim any competence in the matters at hand, I would like to be reassured that this forum will not disappear once you take the application commercial.

In the past I have seen authors start a new forum when they came to an important "turn in the road" and cause the former to evaporate.

Your early advice regarding your future plans for this form will be most appreciated.

TIA,

Coolbear

Don't worry, the forum is going nowhere. It's too valuable for gaining feedback from users to abandon.

Thanks Gary!

Great to know and most reassuring!

I have registered and went to the subscription page where I saw a monthly payment scheme.

Do you have an annual or one-off pricing package? I thought i had seen that somewhere.

Thanks,

Coolbear.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
