New Update 1.3.0.47

Postby Deestar » Mon Sep 07, 2020 11:53 am

Hi

I'm still getting the cookies pop up on log in with the new version.

Can you clarify P2 for refresh rate. Does this mean Q2 will no longer be used to set the refresh rate when full stream is not set?

Thanks

Does the version number definitely say 1.3.0.47? It displays the version number on the login form.

P2 is just a label cell. It used to just contain "Refresh rate". It now contains "Refresh rate (1.0):" for example.

Can you also check if you get the cookies message when displaying live video? Click the play icon above the prices grid.

Does it do it every time you open the application? Can you try opening and closing the application a few times. Also it may help if you send a screen recording. You can use our recording utility independently of Betting Assistant. Open GrussRecord.exe in "C:\Program files (x86)\Betting Assistant" folder. Please send it to admin@gruss-software.co.uk

I had the same message about cookies when I reloaded BA yesterday (Sun) evening. I am using ver 1.3.0.46. It had not appeared previously with this version.

It was exactly as in Deestar's post above.

Ok, sorry, this seems to have been flagged as a Betfair issue with ver 1.3.0.46. As you were.

Don't know what is different with you guys but I'm still getting the cookies request on log in. Two different PC's (one a home PC the other my virtual server).

Neither do I! I have used a different approach for the login form which hopefully works for everybody. Install here

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
