Help for a Macro Dummy

Postby lindemann » Tue Jul 06, 2021 3:48 pm

I’m a long-term user of Gruss and I regularly link to Excel sheets for various projects but I have no knowledge at all of VBA or Macros.
I recently downloaded Gary’s “Next_Market_Trigger” Excel sheet and was using it to auto-load the markets on my Quick Pick List no problem. Then I decided to use Column A for something in my system and loaded the markets from Column B onwards which threw up an error in the macro which is using cell D2 for the race time data.
I didn’t know how to debug this and just decided to download a new spreadsheet and start afresh but the macro won’t run in this version either – Help anyone?

OK, sorted myself out by rebooting. Still not sure why as I thought I'd created a new version but there you go. Thanks if you bothered to read and think about my problem.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
