Beginner needing some advice

Hi All

I have been trading for a couple of years on and off, but it has either been directly with the exchange sites or, when it has been with software (previously Bet Angel) it has been very basic (dutching mainly).

I would really like to spend my time learning this software as I really like it, however right now it is a case of not seeing the wood for the trees. I will be focusing mainly on horse racing and maybe tennis, so I would like some advice as to what I should read or watch to get a better understanding of the system, and hopefully in laymans terms how I go about setting it up.

I know there are some videos around but perhaps there are some things you would recommend I read, or something I can do and play around with with very small stakes just to give me an idea of what is possible. I am not exactly a technophobe, so although I have looked through some of the forum questions and answers, much of it was specifically about technical aspects, which at the moment I know nothing about!

Any advice welcome.
