I've had it before when there's an error with the VBA that may have stopped events working in excel. Just check your excel is working and doesn't have some sheet open that was saved with events disabled

When this happens close all Excel instances and try again. On the Excel link screen (it is in your screenshot) click the "Kill all Excel processes" button to make sure all Excel instances are closed before opening the workbook again.

Nothing to do. The excel file loads regularly from VB6 and I can see it but the Betting Assistant doesn't match it. There are no other Excel files in memory. Does anyone have a solution?

I see you are running the "Click to run" version of office. I think some users have an issue with this. Try installing the .msi version instead. See advice below from Microsoft on how to do this.

Switch from Office Click-to-Run to MSI-based Office
The license is the same. You do not need a new Product Key. If you have any questions, contact Microsoft Support.

Save all work, and then close all programs.
In Control Panel, open Programs and Features to see a list of installed programs.
Click Microsoft Office Click-To-Run 2010, and then click Uninstall.
To remove Microsoft Office Click-to-Run, click Yes.
Go to the Microsoft Office alternative fulfillment page.
Click My account.
Click Download, and then click Advanced options.
Follow the instructions.
To install the MSI-based Microsoft Office edition, run SingleImage.exe.
When prompted, type your Product Key to continue.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
