No. It's not possible. You would either need odds that don't exist or to bet a fraction of a cent.

Chat GPT can explain it better than I can.

Equalising profit across several runners on a betting exchange, also known as "greening up," involves adjusting the stakes on different outcomes to ensure a similar profit (or loss) regardless of the result.

However, due to the fractional nature of odds and the rounding of stake values to the nearest penny, it can sometimes be difficult to achieve exact equalisation across all outcomes.

Here are some reasons:

1. **Rounding errors**: When dealing with odds and stakes, we often deal with fractional numbers. However, when you place a bet, the stake has to be a whole number (or at least rounded to the nearest penny). Any fractional pennies would be rounded up or down, which can lead to small discrepancies in profit across different outcomes.

2. **Odds fluctuation**: In betting exchanges, odds are not static and can change quickly. If the odds change while you're in the process of placing your bets, the profit might not be perfectly equalised across all runners.

3. **Imperfect calculations**: Sometimes, the math required to equalise profits can be complex, especially when dealing with multiple bets at different odds. Any mistakes or simplifications in these calculations can lead to unequal profits.

4. **Liquidity**: Liquidity refers to the amount of money available to bet at a given set of odds. If there's low liquidity, you may not be able to stake the precise amount needed to perfectly equalise your profit across all outcomes.

While it might not always be possible to perfectly equalise profits down to the penny, with careful calculation and timing, you can usually get very close. The goal is to minimise risk and ensure a profit (or minimise a loss) regardless of the outcome.

I don't have any VBA code. If I get chance I will post an example.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
