One click betting on all 3 back and lay prices

Postby Toast » Tue Apr 03, 2007 10:53 am

I read that to mean I could back or lay any horse for 3 different prices for three different amounts at the click of 1 button?

I am new to the new version of the software but having watched the video instructions it looks like this is not possible.

Is it possible to set this up for future versions as it would be very helpful for me and should be for others as well, it cannot be that difficult as most of the feature is there already. (three boxes and overide button for 1 price etc etc.)

:D

It means a single click on any of the best prices will fire a bet, backing or laying according to whether you have 'reverse' set or not.
On the ladder you can back or lay at any price with a single click, not just the 6 best prices.

But what do you want it to do - can you give an example of the 3 bets you would submit at once?

I wanted to back/lay a horse in running at 3 different prices at the same time.

For example set it up to back horse 1 for £10 at 3.0 and £20 at 4.0 and £30 at 5.0 with the minimum of keystrokes at the same time three seperate orders placed.

Ok - once we have staking buttons for the ladder, then you will be able to do this with 6 clicks.
Set up your staking buttons for £10, £20, £30 and anything else you need in advance
Then in running click on the stake you want and then on the price in the ladder.

Can't see how this could be done with less than 6 clicks (or 5 if you had pre-selected you first stake) without a change to software.
Alternatively, use the betfair web site to do this - set up the 3 bets in advance, and then at the right moment a single click will send them in. There's no problem with using BA and betfair website at the same time - if you send in bets via betfair, they will appear in the BA bet manager and on the BA ladder straight away.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
