Betfair scripts

Postby pugs » Wed Jun 06, 2007 11:35 am

Gary, Mark, or anyone please, when you "lay the field" on native interface, does the top selection (fav) submit at the price you lay the field at?...... Or does it submit at the best lay price?

BE careful anyone trying this, if you have the same problem as me the top selection (fav) will submit at best lay price, so make sure you have "verify bets" ticked, then click "NO" on the "verify your bets" slip, then check the price of the top selection.

Thanks to anyone taking the time to try this for me. I have re-installed the scripts several times but i still have this problem on both my pc's and 2 other pc's i've tried it on.

I am sure this was working a while back, but must admit I haven't checked it recently and yes, it was laying the top runner at the offered price. I have amended the script, please re-install and try again.

Cheers Gary, i was beginning to think i was the only person in the universe this was happening to.

Never got chance to post but the beta is looking great, it would look truly amazing with the "bets manager" adjacent to the selections and a "verify bets" with "lay the field"  lol.

Thanks Gary.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
