BACK-TL10-IP and dutching

Postby dgs2001 » Wed Jul 16, 2008 10:44 pm

Hello Everyone

Can anyone tell me the result of dutch backing three outcomes with the trigger
"BACK-TL10_IP"
I know this is the 'Keep In Play' @Auto level with a tick offset of 10' (in this case) trigger
ie
odds 7.2 stake 2.28
odds 7.6 stake 2.16
odds 8.4 stake 1.95

Any of these will result in a profit of 10 normally(If Result goes my way).
However i am trying to fully understand the greening from excel and the effect further bets may have on it.
IE
odds 7.2 and odds 8.4 have now fallen and gone back odds 1000.
odds 7.6 is looking good (3rd) and now goes 5.8 firing the tick offset bet.

The tick offset bet and stake would be what?

What would my level profit now show?

What would happen if I now fired a new In Play target profit (£20) dutch "BACK-TL33" bet on say the first two in running at

odds 2.8 stake 19.57
odds 3.6 stake 15.22

What would my level profit now show?

Hope someone can help cos I think I fried my head!!

PS - Yes this is entirely fictional odds.

Thanks duncan

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
