I live in Australia, and I believe that we are exempt from the UK VAT . Could you confirm this before I update my subscription?

Hi Tom,
You are correct to say that sales made outside the EU are exempt from VAT, so perhaps the announcement we made should have said the new price includes VAT where applicable.
However we don't plan on having differenct prices for EU and non-EU customers as is the norm for many businesses.
So you will still need to modify your subscription.

I am also in Australia and have no problems with the price, i subscribed for 12 months to avoid any currency changes.
