Back bet with offset bet at Fixed odds and Level profit.

Postby Micki » Thu Apr 22, 2010 2:03 pm

Hi Gary,

Back-F20
This trigger will cancel if not matched within 2o sec.
Can I add a combination of TFn (which will fire the offset bet at a fixed odds) and TLn(which auto level the profit with a certain number of ticks).

In other words: I want the offset bet to be fired at a fixed odds, with Level profit and cancellation of the initial and offset bet if the initial bet is not matched.

Thanks for a great piece of software.

:) Michael

You can use BACK-TFn-F20

cancellation of the initial and offset bet if the initial bet is not matched

Don't forget that the offset bet is only placed if the back bet is matched so if the entire back bet is unmatched there will be no offset bet to cancel anyway. If the back bet is partially matched then it will cancel the remaining unmatched portion, but the offset for the matched portion will still be placed.

Sorry, I forgot to answer that part of the question.

The trigger should be BACK-TLFn-F20

....and I didn't make myself clear....

What is most important to me is to combine the fixed odds AND the Auto level Profit .... with or without the Fill or kill part.

That's what TLFn does. Did you notice it's TLFn, not TFn?

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
