New Page Feature

Postby icehost » Thu Aug 31, 2006 10:37 am

Hey,
some days ago I saw a screenshot of BA where several markets were open at the same time - in some sort of tab.
Now I saw in one of the demonstration videos that this can be done with the "New Page" option. In the videos version 0.99a was used, but in the program version I downloaded (pre-release 0.92) this New Page option isn't available.

Will you reintegrate this feature in the near future or is there a possibility to download an older version?

Thanks,
icehost

Gary, is there a limit to how many windows can be open ?
I had 20 windows active on the NON API version however this did crash excel if anything else was running.

I suppose it depends on your pc and bandwidth. I'll try later and see how many I can have open.

Ran the new API with 20 markets concurrently on Wednesday nights football with a refresh rate of 9 seconds and it worked fine

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
