Stop loss and unmatched bet

Postby dcurley » Tue Oct 19, 2010 12:15 pm

Hi,

This query may have been answered elsewhere but unfortunately I cannot find it.

How do I lay a bet for £100 at 3.8, back the same for £50 at 7.6 and also include a stop loss agasinst the lay of £100 at 1.9. I would also like to cancel the stop loss if the back odds are met and cancel the back odds if the stop loss is met.

Thanks

Declan

You will need the Beta version as you cannot do this with the version you are using.

To setup Betting Assistant.
1. Uninstall and install version 1.1.0.66x24 using the link below.
http://www.gruss-software.co.uk/Betting ... _Beta2.msi
2. Selection Options|Preferences from the menu.
3. Select the general options tab.
4. Tick "Calculate tick % on decimal odds"

To place these bets in future.
1. Select tick offset tab in betting options.
2. Enter 50 in tick offset box.
3. Tick "Ticks = %"
4. Tick "Auto level"
5. Select stop loss tab in betting options.
6. Enter 50 in stop loss box
7. Tick "Ticks = %"
8. Tick "Enabled"
9. Click to place the bet as normal.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
