Annual renewal

Postby Craig » Sat Nov 20, 2010 7:37 pm

Hi Gary,

I'm trying to renew my annual subscription to Gruss, but I'm not having any success (sorry, but I'm not one of your brighter customers).

When I start BA, it correctly informs me that my subscription expired two days ago, and that I'll need to renew. I'm invited to click on the PayPal image, which I do.

Having clicked on the PayPal image, a popup message box advises me that it'll take 48 hours to process my payment, but that my account has automatically been enabled for that period of time.

Once I OK this message box, I'm taken to the Gruss subscribe page. I select the annual £60 option from the drop-down box and click submit.

At this stage another message box pops up, informing me that the required information is incomplete as I haven't entered my Betfair user name. When I OK this message box, I’m just returned to the subscribe page.

This is where I run out of brain cells — where am I supposed to enter my BF username?

My account hasn’t been automatically enabled for 48 hours, as when I try starting BA again I’m back into this loop.

I’d really like to give you another £60 — please give me a clue as to where I’m going wrong.

Thanks & regards.
Craig

Do you have the same problem if you go through the following link?

http://www.gruss-software.co.uk/subscribe.asp

I have added a few days onto your account and will continue to do so until the matter is resolved.

Also are you sure you don't see the input box for your Betfair username? It's right there on the subscribe page above the drop down box where you selected annual subscription.

Here is a screenshot of the subscription page with the input box for the Betfair username highlighted in yellow. Do you see this when you view this page?

Thanks Gary, I've been able to renew my subscription — I hadn't noticed the Betfair username box!

(I did say that I wasn’t one of your brighter customers, didn’t I?)

Thanks & regards

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
