Logging multiple tabs

Postby eclipse » Mon Nov 29, 2010 8:55 am

Hi Gary, I was wondering if it's possible to log say 2 or 3 tabs in BA to 1 worksheet in excel (say a1, a20, a40) and how this would affect the MyBets sheet if they were all logging bets to this sheet.

You can do this, but not if you use MyBets I'm afraid. Each market will be written to the same MyBets worksheet overwriting the previous.

Yeah, just tried it out and discovered the MyBets problem, was just trying to find a way of not having so many worksheets open. Is there a reason why the results have to go to a seperate sheet called MyBets? Or would it be possible to specify where on the MyBets sheet the results could be logged, say A1, A100 as you can do on the normal worksheet?

No particular reason other than I didn't design it that way. I will consider this as a suggestion for a future release.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
