Last action bar

Just noticed shows last action as backing/laying top horse in list (grid) regardless of which horse you actually trade , does NOT effect bets but just a bit odd.

I cannot reproduce this. Can you list the exact actions you took to cause this error? Can you include settings you are using like tick offset, stop loss, grid sort order changed etc.

It would be even better if you have some screen recording software if you could produce a video demonstrating this problem. I would be able to solve it a lot quicker then.

Just layed Tobayommotobay in 1640 , last action shows back bet for New Den , using 66x40 , tick offset set to 1 with auto level , does not effect the actual transaction , back bet will be correct horse

Got it. It's the offset back bet, not the lay bet which is being reported incorrectly. I didn't try it with tick offset which is why I could not replicate is straight away. I will fix it asap.

I am fixing the problem now and will release an update in the morning. It's only a problem in recent updates of the Beta version due to a number of changes I have made to the tick offset code. This problem is not present in the official release which is why it hadn't been noticed earlier.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
