We are not aware of any issues at the moment. The response times look ok, but requests for my UK account don't go through the malta server so I cannot say for sure there isn't a problem there.

It seems a little better right now
But refresh time sometimes "freeze" for a sec or more and then continues normal again ( i have it at 0.4 and for a while actual refresh reach 2.5..)
Internet speed is ok
Don't know..

Do you know for a fact it is affecting other international users? If it is being mentioned elsewhere it would strengthen the case with Betfair.

Not for a fact Gary, thought that Haviton is international, at least for me in 2 different vps i get refresh rates between 0.4 which is what i ask, up to 3.355 !!

I don't know if this is relative but though i have set the requests at 15 per sec in my bot, rarely goes more than 8.

Have received the following reply from Betfair.

There are currently no known performance issues affecting international clients.
I asked our technical teams to check for any potential issues and they are satisfied that everything is currently running normally.

What is the typical response time you see in brackets next to the actual refresh rate?

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
