Cycling through markets on different worksheets

Postby ssparker » Tue Jan 11, 2011 1:00 am

Been searching through the forum but couldn't find what I needed, so if someone could help I would be most grateful.

Am betting on every horse race but need to separate the bets to allow time for settlement (in Aus this can take some time). I don't want to set up a new tab for each meeting if I can avoid it. Would rather run about 5 worksheets and cycle each race through the worksheets so there is about a five or so race separation between placing the next bet.

Is this possible and how do you get the next race to change to the next worksheet?

It may be that I am missing something as I am only just starting out, but any advice would be much appreciated.

Many thanks.

I don't think you can do it .
In BA you must specify what race goes into what sheet.

Hi,

You could open new tab pages in Betting Assistant and then populate the Quick Pick Lists in each tab page so that the races in each one have the desired time gap. Then link each tab page to separate worksheets.

Regards,

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
