The green column

Postby pab » Sat Sep 16, 2006 1:57 am

Still a bit new to this so would like some help please. I had a lay on for £5 with the liabilities showing in the green column As the odds changed in running the amount changed to + £4.44, if I had clicked on the £4.44 would that have locked that amount of profit in, would I have to click on anything else first?.This is the latest version!.
Thanks in advance,
Paul.

If £4.44 showed against all the runners in the level profit column and you had the mouse over one of the buttons in the level profit column at the time then you could have clicked it to lock in £4.44. I take it the runners odds had lengthened considerably.

Hello Gary, I can't recall the amount in the other boxes as I was watching the box on the horse I had layed. At the time the horse must have been losing as the back price shot up.I will be using it today and try to get a screenshot if/when the situation happens.
Thanks,
Paul.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
