New BA version

Hi,

I started up BA and it downloaded a new version 30 mins ago and when launching is asking which Windows account I want to run it under. Is this new functionality as I get a .Net exception saying it cant access update_log.txt?

Also is there a way of making the version update optional?

I haven't made any changes for it to ask which Windows account you should use. This is just your Windows security preventing it from writing to the program directory. There is no way currently to make it optional.

You must be using the Beta version because I only updated this version yesterday. The Beta version gets updated regularly with new features and bug fixes. It will always be like this until it becomes the official release. If you don't want regular updates then install the official release from http://www.gruss-software.co.uk/Betting ... istant.msi

If you still want the Beta version then you will have to manually install it from http://www.gruss-software.co.uk/Betting ... t_Beta.msi

Strangest thing - I tried it again without making any changes and it logged straight in (not even rebooting Windows). Yes, must have been Windows glitch with permissioning or maybe some sort of firewall blockage, it appears OK now.

Thanks for the links. I downloaded the official release, is it Version 1.1.0.62?
Its almost a mb smaller than the one im currently running so I guess there is a big difference?

Am inclined to leave it as it is as its always worked fine and probably a good idea to be upto date with your mods.

The latest official version is 1.1.0.65z8
The latest Beta version is 1.1.0.66x66
