Update trigger in BA for Betdaq

Postby Drunkenight » Tue Jun 21, 2011 5:42 pm

The Update trigger seems to work fine in BA for Betdaq before a match starts, but once the match starts and is turned in play I can't seem to get it working. Does anyone know if the update trigger works once the match has been turned in play? Thanks in advance for any help.

I have fixed the problem. It should auto update to version 1.0.5.8 Beta next time you open it. I also added the quick pick option for US Horse Racing place markets you asked for a while back although I haven't been able to test it yet as there aren't any markets for today yet.

Many thanks. I will test the update feature later today and let you know. The quick pick list for US horse racing place markets will be a god send and save me a lot of manual work each day. Really look forward to testing that it works.

I have updated the Betdaq version and the 'All US Place (Horse racing)' selection now appears in the list, so will check it works later today once Betdaq have put up the US markets.

Hi Gary, Just to report that both the update trigger (during in play) and the quick pick list for the US Place markets on BA for Betdaq both worked great. Thanks for the help.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
