Excel top left hand cell

Postby BlueBoy » Wed Jun 22, 2011 7:50 pm

I have just returned to excel/vba after a long layoff. I seem to remember there was some where I could change the top left hand cell from A1 to my own choosing - I want it to default to A11.

Can anyone point me to this setting.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks MAK

Unfortunately I can enter A11 in the box name "Top left hand cell" but the next time I link between Grid and excel this box is back to A1.

I feel sure there was a parameter you could set so that it allways showed your chosen excel cell.

It a bit of a pain - I some times forget to set it and my rows A1 to A10 are overwritten by market selections

Use Log Multiple Sheets Quick Link - you can define the starting cell and it will automatically open the workbook for you.

You appear to be using an older Beta version. Upgrade to the latest, see http://gruss-software.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6273
It remembers the cell you used last time.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
