Bets staying once program closed?

As in title.
If I place a bet to switch to in play betting if it doesnt get matched before hand, and I then exited out of the software, will the bet remain waiting to be matched? Or does closing the software delete any unmatched bets?
I am wanting to bet on some overnight sports markets without having to leave my machine running all night.

Hi,

As long as the bet is unmatched i.e. you have a bet reference then yes it will remain. The matching process is handled completely by Betfair. Betting Assistant doesn't cancel unmatched bets on exiting the program. If you had set something up that is conditional e.g. a conditional bet that is waiting for odds to reach a certain level then that would be cancelled.
