Changing tabs issue

Postby doris_day » Sat Aug 06, 2011 1:00 pm

Sometimes I have to click 20 times on a tab to get it to focus. Any idea why this might be ?

I've not heard of this issue before. What version are you using? Can you narrow it down to a specific area of the tab? ie. is it only when you click in the middle, left or right?

I've been doing some experimenting and it does seem to be position sensitive. If I click of the left-most tab on the right hand side it seems to have difficulty in focusing, whereas if I click on its lefthand side it doesn't. Is this something you're aware of ?

No point in sending details of OS because its happened in the past on different systems. Not a huge problem but annoying at times. I'm now getting into the habit of clicking on the very left of the lefthand tab to make sure it works.

I cannot replicate the problem here. Can you tell me which of the following settings you have so I can test under the same conditions.

1. General preferences: Tab page close method.
2. General preferences: Display tabs on multiple rows.
3. General preferences: Enable market information button on tab name.
4. General preferences: Two line tab title.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
