Help! Bet at exact odds

Hello, new to the software and betting in general.

I downloaded the software as I want to be able to bet at an exact point and cannot work out how to do it.

So for example, tennis player X starts with odds of 1.6, however I only want to back him at odds of 1.3. Through betfair and the standard back function, I can type in 1.3 but because the odds are higher, it will place the bet immediately at 1.6.

I have downloaded the software and am using triggered bets within Excel, everythings working but the same happens, if i put BACK at 1.3 whilst the current odds are 1.6, the program places the bet straight away at the higher odds.

Can someone let me know how I can get the software to place a bet only at the exact odds I wish to back at!?

Hi,

It has to be a Conditional Bet because of Betfair's Best Execution you will always get matched at the best available odds.
There is no way to put a bet into the queue at lower odds than are currently available so the only thing you can do is monitor the odds and submit the bet when the odds reach the desired price.
You can either use the Conditional Bets feature or do it via Excel triggered betting.
