Trying to place a lay bet at sp from excel, 30sec before the official off

trigger : LAYSP
Odds : 3,482 (current odds around 2,5 , I don't care what the sp odds will be, I just want my bet get matched at sp)
stake : 15,00e

I get an error message: INVALID_SIZE

Anyone can help?

I think you are using version 1.1.0.66x46 which is a much older Beta version. I've just tried this on the latest version and cannot replicate the issue. If you could try it with the latest version and still have the problem I can investigate further.

I still get the same error, 60x82 ver. , horse racing

Code: Select all
    Range("Q5:T5").ClearContents
    LAYstake = 15
    LAYodds = Round(Range("F5").Value * 2, 0)
    MyARRAY = Array("LAYSP", LAYodds, LAYstake)
    Range("Q5:S5").Value = MyARRAY

OK. I'll see if I can replicate using your code.

It looks like the minimum liability for Euro SP lay bets is 20, not 10 as per UK account. I tried this using my Euro account on the website and the bet is rejected with "Bet is below the minimum permitted bet size.". Therefore the error message is valid and it's not a BA issue.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
