CANCEL_ALL_LAY

Postby Drunkenight » Thu Jan 19, 2012 3:54 pm

When I use this trigger it doesn't seem to cancel all my lay bets for that selection, unless the Bet reference cell has a reference in it. Do you have to have a bet reference in the bet reference cell for this trigger to work?

Yes it must contain something. Even "DUMMY" will do. When it has been processed it blanks the bet ref.

Thanks for the swift reply. I thought that might be the case. The problem is that as soon as I place a new bet, I clear the bet reference cell. The means that the bet reference cell is normally empty. The idea is that I am ready to place another new Lay bet, if the conditions are met or cancel all my lay bets if needed. Any suggestions how I can get around this?

Hi,

You will need to put something into the Bet Ref cell.
As Gary says it can be anything you like just as long as the bet ref cell is not empty.

Regards,
Mark

Thanks for the swift reply. If there is something in the bet reference cell, does this mean that no new bets can be placed?

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
