Help with excel

hi
i have excel 97 , is there any hope for me?
i cant get data into the sheets aka the tutorial videos.
can i use the api with this version of excel? can someone show me - give me links that will allow my tracking of data and firing orders into betfair

I seem to remember someone saying before that a later version of Excel is needed. When I tried it with 97 on another computer I couldn't get it working either.
