Lay odds

Hi, can someone please tell me how i can place a lay bet at greater odds than are being offered, on the grid interface.
e.g. If the lay box on a specific selection is 13, how can i place a lay bet at 25, so if it goes out my lay bet is placed?
It is simple to do on the ladder, but i cant seem to do it on the grid.

If you place a lay bet at higher odds you will just get matched instantly because Betfair always match you at the best available odds. When you say it's simple on the ladder are you sure you aren't placing a back bet instead? On the ladder you click the right column to back and left to lay which is opposite to the grid.

You need to place a conditional bet so that the prices are monitored until the odds go up to your required price and the bet is placed at that point. View the user guide from the help menu and read about "Conditional bets".
